A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, Alhaji Salihu Nataro has said Nigerians should consider Alhaji Aliko Dangote as a potential presidential candidate for the 2027 presidential election. He said pairing Dangote with Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti would restore economic stability and drive industrial growth ahead of the 2027 elections.

Alhaji Nataro stated this while speaking at a political gathering in Abuja recently. He said Dangote-Otti pair would provide the needed leadership to tackle unemployment, drive poverty and promote nationwide industrialization.

He maintained that competence in enterprise management and governance which both men have demonstrated in their chosen fields could help rebuild confidence and offer sustainable solutions to economic challenges Nigeria is facing.

He enjoined Dangote to step down as chairman in his companies and contest alongside Otti. Noting that Nigerians will gladly support their aspirations.

“If Dangote can step down as chairman of all his conglomerates, as he has already done with two companies, Nigerians will gladly support him to contest alongside Otti. Together, they can industrialise Nigeria within a short period,” Nataro said.

Nataro took swipe on state governors for neglecting key areas that are essential for job creation and social stability. He added that critical sectors such as vocational training, agriculture, and youth capacity building have been abandoned

The APC Stalwart poured encomium on Dr. Otti for changing the story of Abia state for better. He said the transparent and reform-focused governance in Abia State should be emulated by other governors, describing his approach as aligned with global standards.

“Governor Otti stands out among the current crop of state governors because of the way he handles critical aspects of development in his state,” he said. “His decision to seek low-interest credit facilities from the United Arab Emirates shows foresight and accountability.”
